Test institute: dermatest® Research Institute For Reliable Results. Over the course of 5 days, the subjects' skin was repeatedly irritated using the anionic surfactant SLS (1% sodium lauryl sulfate). Following this induced irritation, the soothing effect on irritated skin—with and without Special Care Cream—was evaluated.
Duration:
7 days
Age/Participants:
26–54, 10 people
Test area:
Forearm
Application:
Morning & evening
In summary, it was demonstrated that after 5 days of irritation and a subsequent 7-day application period, the Special Care Cream significantly supported the regeneration process of the skin barrier. In all measured parameters, a clear reduction in the extent of skin irritation and damage was observed when using the Special Care Cream compared to an untreated area.
This confirms the highly soothing and skin barrier-regenerating effect of the Special Care Cream.
