My esthetician recommended it as an alternative cleanser for my irritated and severely blemished skin. I liked that it cleanses without drying my skin out. It did help for a while, but I had to use it very often (and increasingly so) to prevent oil and breakouts. In addition, my skin becomes extremely shiny and sticky when I use the product. For my very sensitive and complicated skin, the Herbal Care Lotion is by far the least problematic cleanser/toner I have used so far, But I doubt whether I’ll continue using it long-term. The price is too high and the effect isn’t convincing enough.
